George Edward Jones Jr., 65, of Newark, N.J., was called home on Dec. 31, 2018.
George was predeceased by his son, Aron G., and is lovingly remembered by his sons, Alexander Q. and George E. III; brother, Darryl (Lisa), stepsisters and stepbrother, two granddaughters, nieces, nephews and cherished family and friends.
Visitation will take place at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 401 Avon Ave., Newark, N.J., on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a celebration of life service at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of George can be made to Mt. Olivet Church.
